The atmosphere was charged with faith and expectancy as members of Solemn Faith International Church gathered for a life-transforming service on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Road 21, Plot 14, Federal Housing Estate, Woji, Port Harcourt.
The service began with an inspiring message from the Host Pastor, Pastor Matthew James Ele-Ojo, on the topic, “The Mystery of Feet Washing,” with Exodus 30:20 as the anchor text.
Pastor Ele-Ojo explained that the mystery of feet washing is a divine covenant practice that opens believers to God’s intervention and supernatural blessings when approached with faith.
He taught that feet washing grants believers victory over premature death, citing Exodus 30:19–21, Exodus 40:30–31, and 2 Samuel 11:8 as biblical foundations.
According to him, the ordinance also provides access to God’s abundance and divine provision, drawing lessons from John 13:3–8, Genesis 18:4, Genesis 19:2, and Genesis 24:32.
He further stated that feet washing qualifies believers for royal treatment and serves as a channel for the restoration of health and vitality, referencing Genesis 43:24, 2 Kings 5:10, and John 9:7–11.
The pastor highlighted biblical examples of individuals whose feet were washed, including angels, the children of Israel, Jesus Christ, and His disciples, emphasizing that the practice remains spiritually significant for believers today.
The second session featured the Guest Speaker, Evangelist Wisdom Philip, who delivered a powerful message titled “Destroy the Destroyers,” from John 10:10.
The evangelist warned that spiritual destroyers are real and often work to rob people of their progress before attacking their destinies. He urged believers to remain spiritually alert and steadfast.
Drawing from Judges 1:24–25 and Zechariah 2:1–2, he explained that the enemy’s mission is to hinder success and frustrate divine purpose unless resisted through spiritual warfare.
He identified marathon prayers, consistent fasting, and sacrificial living as essential weapons for overcoming the forces of darkness, citing Acts 23:12 as an example of determined spiritual engagement.
Evangelist Philip further encouraged worshippers to praise God continually, listen to God’s prophets, and maintain ceaseless prayers, referencing 2 Chronicles 20, Jeremiah 3:15, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, and Esther 4:15–16.
The service was marked by deep spiritual encounters as worshippers lifted heartfelt praises, offered fervent prayers, and renewed their commitment to walking in divine victory.
The gathering concluded with soul-lifting ministrations by the Solemn Voice Choir and numerous powerful testimonies, leaving the congregation strengthened, inspired, and equipped to overcome every force that stands against their destiny.
