Pastor Matthew James Ele-Ojo of Solemn Faith International Church has urged Christians to prioritize productivity and godly living above outward appearance, declaring that while beauty may attract admirers, it is productivity that secures lasting relevance and establishment in life.
The cleric made the remarks during the church’s Sunday worship service today at the church auditorium located at Road 21, Plot 14, Federal Housing Estate, Woji, Port Harcourt.
He delivered a sermon titled “Accessing the Realms of Ceaseless Harvest,” with his principal texts taken from Genesis 8:22 and Galatians 6:7.
Speaking on the meaning of ceaseless harvest, Pastor Ele-Ojo described it as a continuous and uninterrupted flow of rewards resulting from diligence and faithful obedience to God’s principles.
He noted that divine harvest is not limited by time or season but remains constant for those who remain steadfast in serving God.
According to him, ceaseless harvest also signifies unstoppable increase and advancement, stressing that God has the power to multiply and enlarge the lives of His people regardless of prevailing circumstances.
The preacher identified consistent seed sowing as the first pathway to experiencing ceaseless harvest.
Citing several biblical passages, he explained that every seed produces after its kind and urged believers to remain committed to sowing good seeds through generosity, service, righteousness and positive actions.
He further emphasized that tireless praise is another key to sustained harvest.
According to him, a lifestyle of continual thanksgiving and worship attracts divine increase, adding that no force can prevent the elevation of a believer who remains committed to praising God.
Pastor Ele-Ojo also highlighted the indispensable role of God’s mercy in securing lasting prosperity.
He explained that ceaseless harvest ultimately depends on divine mercy, which preserves, sustains and establishes believers beyond their human abilities.
He outlined several ways believers can access God’s mercy, including genuine love for God, commitment to His Kingdom and His Word, reverence for God, faithfulness to His covenant, dependence on God rather than self-reliance, gratitude and the favour of God.
During the sermon, the cleric shared several memorable quotes that resonated with the congregation.
Chief among them was his assertion that, “Beauty attracts, but productivity establishes,” emphasizing that lasting success is built on value, diligence and consistent results rather than physical appearance.
He also declared that “Your seed determines your harvest,” reminding worshippers that every action, whether good or bad, carries consequences that eventually manifest in one’s life.
He added that when God increases a person, no one can diminish such divine blessings.
Pastor Ele-Ojo encouraged believers to cultivate an unending lifestyle of praise, saying that those who cannot be stopped from praising God cannot be stopped from being elevated by Him.
He described endless praise as an unstoppable lifestyle that continually attracts God’s intervention.
The cleric further cautioned Christians against limiting seed sowing to financial giving alone.
He explained that attitudes, character, relationships and the way people treat others are also seeds whose harvest may be reaped either by the individual or by future generations.
He therefore urged members to appreciate the gift of life and remain grateful to God daily, noting that the greatest difference between the living and the dead is the breath of life graciously given by God.
He also advised believers to shun bitterness, character assassination and every action capable of bringing negative consequences upon themselves and their families.
The service featured inspiring ministrations by the church choir, Solemn Voice, alongside numerous testimonies from members who shared accounts of God’s faithfulness.
The atmosphere was marked by vibrant praise, heartfelt worship and a renewed commitment among worshippers to live productive lives anchored on faith, gratitude and unwavering trust in God.
